SCHEZWAN PASTA
Schezwan Pasta… This is my go-to meal whenever I am tired and want to cook something quick… I actually call them Pasta in a jiffy! 🙂 When I was in college, pasta was always my go-to meal. This recipe brings a spicy and tangy twist… It is full of flavors and for those who love spicy food… the schezwan pasta is going to be your new fav guys!!!! Prep Time: 5 mins | Cook Time: 15 mins | Total Time: 20 mins | Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 4 cups pasta
- 2 tbsp Schezwan Chutney
- ½ cup Tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp dried Italian herbs
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- Cook the pasta according to the packaged instructions.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add schezwan chutney and ketchup.
- Now add the cooked pasta and mix.Â
- Add in the herbs, chili flakes, and salt.
- Cook for a quick min and serve!
Notes:
- You can use any kind of pasta. I used Penne.Â
- I used Ching’s schezwan chutney. You can buy it at any Indian grocery stores.Â
- You can add any veggies too if you want.
- Add some pasta water if you like the pasta saucy
- You can adjust the spice level according to your spice tolerance. 😊Â
