CHEESE MASALA PAV
If you’ve been to Mumbai and never tried Masala Pav, then don’t worry! I’ve got you covered. 😃
One of my fav restaurants in Mumbai is Shiv Sagar and they serve these delicious masala pavs. They are like Pav bhaji but still different. Full of flavors!!! When I was in high school, I still used to go to Bandra for my classes and would always have lunch at Shiv Sagar. And my all-time fav was Cheese Masala Pav. Making this recipe took me back to my high school days… I hope you guys enjoy making this recipe as much as I did. Don’t forget to tag me @spizerita if you make these. I would love to see your creations. 😊

- 2 tsp. Kashmiri red chili powder

- In the same pan. Add ½ tbsp of butter once it melts, take 2 pavs, and slit them. Put them in the pan. Cook both sides for a minute. Then spread little masala from the bowl in between the pav. Remove the pav on a plate.Â
- Now cover the pav with the masala. Grate 1 cube of cheese. Garnish with Cilantro and serve hot. Â
- Repeat step 6 for the other pavs as well and enjoy. 😊 Â
Notes:
- I buy pav from Patel Bros bakery.Â
- I used Badshah pav bhaji masala
- Also, I used Amul Butter  😊
- If you can’t find Amul cheese, you can use cheddar cheese as well (about ¼ cup for each plate).
